About The Position
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Vice President of Product to lead our product management team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our core product line, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the industry. This individual will drive the product strategy, development, and go-to-market initiatives, contributing significantly to the overall success and growth of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision:
-Develop and articulate a compelling product vision aligned with the company's overall strategic objectives, with a focus on increasing market share by X% within Y years.
-Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy decisions.
- Product Roadmap and Execution:
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, to define and prioritize the product roadmap based on data-driven insights.
-Drive the successful execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely delivery on 95% of product roadmap milestones and achieving a customer satisfaction rating of 4.5 or higher on new releases.
- Team Leadership:
-Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing product management team.
-Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging creativity and problem-solving.
- Customer Insights:
-Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, gathering feedback through various channels (surveys, user interviews, etc.) to inform product improvements and address customer pain points.
-Work closely with customer success and support teams to enhance user satisfaction.
- Product Lifecycle Management:
-Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, optimizing product performance and relevance.
-Implement effective product pricing strategies and positioning in the market.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a senior product management role, with a focus on dev tools or related technologies (e.g., containerization, orchestration, security)
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-native technologies and the challenges associated with securing cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration); advanced degree preferred.
